This Bowl has been paddled with a traditional Japanese Fish scale or Wave pattern. The bowl has been thrown in a light stoneware clay into a basic cylinder, the paddle is then used to emboss the detail on tro the vessel. The bowl is then formed on the wheel from the inside until the shape is complete. The footring is then added. This bowl has been glazed in a beautiful deep olive glaze that has a lovely gloss finish.
